Youth Account

Youth accounts that grow with them.

We’re making it easier (and more fun) for our younger members to start managing their money! Members ages 10 to 16 years old can open a checking account with a debit card, along with the required minimum of $5 in their savings account.

We will even deposit $15 in the checking and $5 in their savings (a total of $20), to help them get started.

To keep things safe, debit cards will have a daily transaction limit of $200 until the member reaches 16 years old.

A parent or guardian will need to be present at the account opening. We will need the following information from the parent and the child:

Parent
  • SSN
  • Copy of driver's license
  • Phone number
  • Employer
  • Occupation
  • Mother's maiden name
  • Email
Child
  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Copy of SSN
  • Mother's maiden name
  • Phone number
  • Email
Whether they’re buying snacks, saving up for something big, or just learning to manage their allowance, opening an account will set them up for some serious financial savvy.

Visit any of our three branches to open a youth account and hand in the materials.
